After four years of research, collaboration and innovation, the SANGUINE project is approaching its conclusion. To mark this important milestone, the leaders of Work Package 6, the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), are preparing a showcase event that promises to bring the project’s achievements and future potential to life.

The SANGUINE Project Showcase Event:
Advancing the HemaChip from Research to Impact
Taking place on 13–14 October in Brussels (and streamed online), the event will shine a spotlight on the HemaChip, an innovative diagnostic technology developed to screen for multiple blood cancers simultaneously with a fast, minimally invasive, and cost-effective test.
The showcase event is designed to be more than a traditional conference. An immersive exhibition space, engaging presentations and an interactive programme will offer participants different ways to explore the science, achievements and lessons of SANGUINE.
The event will also bring together a diverse community of researchers, clinicians, patient representatives, industry leaders and policymakers, creating opportunities to exchange perspectives and discuss how innovative technologies can move from research into healthcare practice.

With around 300,000 people diagnosed with hematological malignancies across the EU each year, the need for improved diagnostics is clear. As SANGUINE reaches its final chapter, the showcase event will celebrate what the project has achieved while looking ahead to opportunities to deliver lasting impact for patients and healthcare systems through European research and innovation.
