JaxBio has reached an important milestone in the SANGUINE project, with its HemaChip platform now being used independently by partner medical centres participating in the project.
Following the development, optimisation and successful transfer of the HemaChip technology, partner laboratories have been trained to perform the assay independently at their own sites. This marks an important step in demonstrating the robustness, reproducibility and transferability of JaxBio’s technology beyond its own laboratory.
To date, more than 1,200 samples have been tested using HemaChip across the SANGUINE project.
HemaChip is JaxBio’s epigenetics-based platform for detecting and characterising hematological malignancies through disease-associated DNA methylation patterns. Its successful deployment across multiple partner sites represents an important step towards translating the technology from development into a scalable solution that could ultimately be implemented in clinical laboratory settings.
This achievement has been made possible through the close collaboration of the SANGUINE clinical and research partners and represents a significant milestone for both JaxBio and the SANGUINE project.
