At the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv, teams are helping to implement the SANGUINE project through the close collaboration of researchers, clinicians and patients. This coordination helps ensure the initiative runs smoothly within a real-world clinical setting.
A consistent, trust-based relationship is at the heart of this groundbreaking project. It supports patient recruitment, including the enrolment of the Aortic Regurgitation (AR) patient population – a key component of the study.
Among the Sourasky teams contributing to the project:
The Clinical Trials Unit, led by Irit Segalovich, coordinates the clinical implementation of the project. Ella Krayzler and Ruth Greenwald contribute to the study’s delivery and help ensure that activities remain aligned with routine clinical practice.
The Research Unit, led by Yael Cohen, oversees day-to-day operations. Ricki Avissara and Reut Zarfin coordinate processes across the study, from patient interaction through to operational delivery.
The Data Management Team supports the scientific integrity of the project by maintaining data quality and consistency throughout.
The project involves laboratory work, patient recruitment, data analysis and the dissemination of findings at scientific meetings. These combined efforts across clinical, laboratory and operational areas support the ongoing development of the project and its contribution to early detection research.
